The International Risk Analysis Group (URAG), which consists of the intelligence and counter-terrorism branch directorates of the Ankara Police Department, conducted an investigation against 15 foreign national suspects, who were determined to have been operating within the terrorist organization ISIS for a period or were still in contact with or assisting the members of the terrorist organization ISIS. operation was carried out.
In the simultaneous operation held at dawn, 12 suspects were caught and detained.
While the operation to apprehend the fugitives continued, at the same time, one person, who was determined to have transported people affiliated with ISIS and PKK/PYD terrorist organizations to the conflict zones and was a ‘pirate’ taxi driver, was caught at the Ankara Intercity Bus Terminal (AŞTİ).
It was stated that those who will be treated as ‘foreign terrorist fighters’ will be handed over to the Migration Administration for deportation after their interrogation.
