WHO IS ESMERAY?
Esmeray Diriker was born in 1950 in Istanbul Emirgan. Her ancestors were of Moroccan descent. In 1960, he left Emirgan Secondary School and entered the Istanbul City Theater and made his debut in the Children’s Department.
She moved to private theaters in 1965 and first acted in the play ‘Something Funny Happened While Driving On The Road Last Night’ at the Dormen Theatre. Later, she acted in Avni Dilligil, Özlem Taşdelenler, Sezer Sezin Theaters.
She said goodbye to theaters in 1974 with the play ‘March Minister’, which he played with Muammer Karaca.

In the meantime, she acted in the movies ‘Sev Kardeşim’ and ‘Zilli Nazife’. She started music as an amateur in the choir of Neriman Altındağ Tüfekçi. In 1974, while she was the soloist of the ‘Kim Bu’ ensemble, he stepped into the music world with the song ‘100 Kerre 1000 Kerre’, which he sang on the ‘Kim Bus’ record they released with the ensemble.
Organized in 1974, ‘1.she made a name for himself with the first place he won in the Pin Composition Competition with his wife Şemi Diriker’s (Erol Tanır’s compositions were signed by Erol Tanır) and still continues to be a rosewood song.
BOTH MUSIC AND STAGE

She made his second big break with the ‘Gel Tezkere’ record in 1977. Esmeray, who worked on 9 pieces of 45s, 4 pieces of LP and 1 piece of cassette (Paper Tissue), ended her professional stage activities in 1986.
Finally, he returned to the theater in 1995 with the play ‘Oscar’ at the Nedim Saban Theatre. In 2000, She acted in ‘Always the Same Bustle’. Esmeray, who accelerated her musical studies again with the album ‘Old Dostlar’, also acted in TV series.
ENTERED IN A COMA
Leaving unforgettable projects in the field of both theater and music, Esmeray could not come out of her coma in 2002 and passed away at the age of 52.
