After 6 towing tugboats crashed on the Interstate I-95 highway in the US state of Virginia yesterday, the roads were closed due to heavy snowfall in the region and the drivers were stuck in their vehicles for 15 hours.
‘NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THIS’
Drivers using the I-95 highway were stuck in their vehicles for hours after the roads were closed in both directions. The drivers, who published their experiences on their social media accounts, expressed their concerns about running out of fuel and food. “I have never seen anything like it,” said Emily Clementson, the truck driver who was stranded on the road. Drivers stranded on the road asked truck drivers if they had food and water,” he said.
EMERGENCY HELP REQUEST
While the authorities announced that they sent emergency aid from other states to open the closed roads, there was no loss of life in the accident involving 6 tugboats.
